Asian Turkey Burgers

Makes 6 Patties 

INGREDIENTS:

500g Turkey Mince

2 Garlic Cloves (minced)

1 Shallots (thinly sliced)

3/4 Cup Coriander (finely chopped)

1 Red Chilli (finely chopped)

1 tsp. Lemongrass (minced)

1 tsp. Tamari

1 1/2 tsp. Fish Sauce

2 TBLS Coconut Oil

S&P (season to taste)

TO SERVE:

*Asian Greens w/ Coconut Rice or

*4-6 Bread Rolls

*Vietnamese Salad

 

METHOD:

1. Combine all ingredients except in a large mixing bowl, and mix through with your hands until thoroughly combined.

2. Form 4-6 burger patties out of mixture, and refrigerate for 30 minutes to an hour (If cooking them that day), otherwise cling wrap patties and freeze.

3. Heat Oil in the fry pan, over a high heat, cook for roughly 6-8 minutes per side or until browned and firm to touch.

4. This can be served on its own or with any of the suggested sides.
