Basic Berry Porridge

INGREDIENTS:

FOR THE PORRIDGE

1 Cup Rolled Oats

250ml Almond or Rice Milk

1 Banana

2 TBLS Chia Seeds

1 tsp. Cinnamon, ground

TO SERVE:

2 Cups Berries (Frozen or Seasonal)

*1 TBLS Hemp Seeds

 

METHOD:

1. Place oats, milk and 250ml water in a medium saucepan over a medium heat, stir to combine and bring to the boil.

2. Stir in the cinnamon, reduce heat and simmer on low for roughly 4 -6 minutes or until oats form a thick and creamy consistency.
3. Remove from heat, stir in chia seeds and allow standing for 1-2 minute before serving.

4. Divide among bowls or airtight containers, and top with banana and berries.
