2 MEALS IN 1 Turkey Meatballs & Turkey Burgers

Makes 20 Meatballs & 4-6 Burgers

INGREDIENTS

1KG Turkey Mince

2 Red Onions (finely diced)

4 Garlic Cloves (crushed)

16 Sage Leaves (finely chopped)

16 Basil Leaves (finely chopped)

1/2 Cup of Parsley (finely chopped)

60g Rocket (finely chopped)

2 Shallots (finely chopped)

Zest of 1 Lemon

4 tsp. Dried Oregano

S&P (season to taste)

 

METHOD:

1. Combine all ingredients except in basil in a large mixing bowl, and mix through with your hands until thoroughly combined.

2. Divide mixture into 2 mixing bowls, Roll the first bowl of mixture into medium sized meatballs, place in an airtight container and store in freezer

3. Add the basil to the remaining mixture and form 4-6 burger patties, refrigerate for 30minutes to an hour (If cooking them that day), otherwise cling wrap patties individually and store in freezer
