Kechap Manis

Makes 250ml

INGREDIENTS:

¼ Cup of Tamari

¼ Cup of Rice Malt Syrup

1 TBLS of Sesame Oil

*1 Star Anise (whole)

1 tsp. Ginger (grated)

 

METHOD:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan over a medium heat, bring to a gentle boil, reduce heat simmer for about 8 minutes.

  2. Stir and remove from heat to allow cooling completely before pouring into a screw top jar or bottle and refrigerate.
